A Love of the Old. What couple danced to this record’s gay tune? Who enjoyed this story long a go told? Two things never stop giving pleasure, they never die. A well told tale, igniting our imagination. A tune of beautiful composition, evoking emotion. I thought I would share with you some pictures of my inspiration board. I’ve been working on it pretty much all summer and now I’ve finely been able to put some photos and quotes on it. Inspiring in photography: Double exposure photos. And apple cider cold...

Put Up Your Dukes: putapuredukes?

http://www.putapuredukes.com/p/putapuredukes.html

The name/title of our blog, "Put Up Your Dukes," is obviously a play on our last name and the idea that sometimes we are going to have to stick up our fists and fight for this fuller life that we so badly want. But you may have noticed that the web address, putapuredukes, is spelled differently than the blog title. here's the story of that. Find somethin' on this blog. Farmer's Wife 1930s QAL. I have to admit, I've been lousy with keeping up with my blocks for the Farmer's Wife 1930s quilt along. Although, I'm not certain why (aside from being distracted with other demands). The patterns for these blocks are flawless and total dreamboats to work with! The seams match up so nicely. I love that, especially since I don't generally follow the rules when it comes to quilt patterns. My tip for this block:. Thanks for hosting, Kerry! When Kerry an...
