Monday, 13 April 2015. I never find time anymore to enter challenges always so busy doing this flippin house and garden up, so I have taken time out to enter http:/ craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/. This one instead of just being a Guest DT. It's theme is "add some texture", so some embossing from the parchment and ribbon and a little decoupage is my bit of texture. Now back to the garden. Saturday, 7 February 2015. My Guest DT card for February 7th challenge on http:/ craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/. The theme is "Decorate a Corner/or two". For mine I once again embroidered the two corners and the words, used my ScanNCut to make the white frame, I used a punch for the two corners, the pine cones and the stopper are from Klever Konstructions. The whole thing being mounted onto an easel type card. As the design as a whole is not in my shop. Links to this post.

Saturday, 6 September 2014. My card as guest designer for this month's challenge over on http:/ craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/. Is "Twelve Drummers Drumming, the theme being "Can You Hear What I Hear". I do hope you will join us there. I embroidered the main picture onto a cotton poly fabric, over laid this with a frame I cut from one of Monica's free cutting files http:/ monicascreativeroom.se/category/cutting-files/cards/gate-fold-cards/. Then attached this to a card 7 x 7 inch.

Tuesday, April 25, 2017. I T 'S SPRING! Ok so not so warm yet, but things are happening. Things are hatching and cheeping and creeping and crawling and changing. We are watching the Praying Mantis as they hatch. One of them got loose and found it's way to me as I was getting the kids little "take home cups" ready. They are so cute when they are this tiny. KO likes them, but she seemed happy they were inside the bug jug. Everyone gets to take some home. We even have enough to share with big brothers!

The crafty side of me. Sunday, January 11, 2009. I made a bucket! I've wanted to try this tutorial. For awhile . Today I finally sat down and gave it a whirl. I have to be honest and say I didn't read any of the instructions. just looked at the pictures and went from there. I used my own size fabric too. I hate reading instructions! I also want to say.no matter how much you hate to do something.go ahead and DO IT! While I didn't have major problems.it would have just went alot smoother if I had READ.
