craftyc0rn3r: Watermelon Whale
http://craftyc0rn3r.blogspot.com/2015/06/watermelon-whale.html
Friday, June 12, 2015. I decided to make a Watermelon Whale. Isn't he cute? I'm not sure it was a good idea to make it right before the event because it did take a little bit of time to carve it out and cut everything up. I first outlined where I was going to cut on the watermelon. I started to carve, using my outline as a guidance. Once I was done, I popped off the top. It was surprisingly easy to do. I touched up the corners and then I started to scoop out the watermelon to make it hollow.

craftyc0rn3r: Wall of Pictures
http://craftyc0rn3r.blogspot.com/2015/06/wall-of-pictures.html
Monday, June 15, 2015. I have an open concept in my house so there aren't that many walls to hang pictures. My foyer has a two story wall that I nailed some frames up when I first moved in. 8 years later and the same 6 posed baby and family pictures still hung. A lot has happened in 8 years, including me having more kids. The most recent family picture was missing my youngest child who is now 7 years old. I was so ready to take all the posed, Sunday dressed, fake smiles off my walls. This project took wh...

craftyc0rn3r: Mint Chocolate Cookies
http://craftyc0rn3r.blogspot.com/2012/09/mint-chocolate-cookies.html
Friday, September 28, 2012. My kids are HUGE fans of mint chocolate ice cream. It would be a rarity if we didn't have any in our freezer. My sister has even gone to great lengths to find mint chocolate ice cream sandwiches for them. Therefore, when she came over to our house last weekend to create Mint Chocolate Cookies for the kiddos, they were all ecstatic. Here's her yummy creation:. 2 3/4 cup flour. 1 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature). 1 1/2 cup sugar.

In this secret garden I tend to drop my thoughts here and there. Photo Source: Google Images). Links to this post. Are you my life?: Food and Sex
http://areyyoumylife.blogspot.com/2013/08/food-and-sex.html
Are you my life? Friday, August 16, 2013. I have a weird or maybe enlightened sense to me lately. Not an overly happy one but some type of new something something. I have a strong pull to just do something. Something that maybe I've pushed down for one reason or another. Be it not feeling smart enough, or listening to doubters, or wondering what people might think,. Maybe just being scared to fail. But I know myself. I just don't always believe in myself. I'm not sure fully why that is. I've wanted to do...
Are you my life?: Educate and stimulate
http://areyyoumylife.blogspot.com/2013/05/educate-and-stimulate.html
Are you my life? Friday, May 17, 2013. Hubby met a girl during a recent AIDS walk and for one of those unexplainable reasons he felt comfortable and some sex talk was brought into the conversation. He told this gal that his wife would love her. He made it clear that I'm pretty open about stuff and she decided that if she ran into me ever that she would give me a lap dance. It's so random and we laugh and of course hit it off right away. Hubby was right. We have met her since for sushi a couple days ago a...

http://areyyoumylife.blogspot.com/2013/04/new-path.html
Are you my life? Wednesday, April 17, 2013. I'm on a personal journey that I thought I had pretty much conquered. Finding myself. Not that I thought I had life all wrapped up in a neat package, but did think I was on a forward positive path. I might have been but the forks in the road have told a different story of my ignorance and trust and fate. But this is my path. I will do the best I can and learn to love again but in a different way. Labels: a new beginning. Ive been neck-deep in the drama/trauma o...

Monday, April 4, 2016. All you need is a coconut, supplies to open the coconut (pointed object and hammer), and sugar. My pointed object is a screw driver. I pointed it at one of the holes of the coconut. My son decided to take over to hammer the screw driver in, making a hole. Next, the coconut water was drained. Take the hammer and tap all the way around the coconut until it cracks open. Next, scrape the coconut off the shell. I used a sharp knife. This is so good and addicting. Monday, April 04, 2016.
