My world.sort of. Saturday, 31 January 2015. Been and all but gone. I can not believe how fast this month has gone but here we are on the 31st and February is peeking round the corner. So what has been going on this month. Was the last day I posted on here so obviously not a lot of blogging going on. Craft days have been attended. My world.sort of. Sunday, 9 August 2015. I took Mum shopping at Lakeside (West Thurrock). Although the candles were not AS reduced as when my Sister visited, we still managed to come away with some bargains and a lovely selection of 'smells'. We also went into Waterstone's and Mum was very happy to come away with a good selection of audio books. I picked up the most recent Barbara Erskine book and a handbag sized colouring book. This is the title page of the book which I have coloured. Hugs, anne xx.

My world.sort of. Friday, 31 July 2015. If you ever get the chance. To visit my neck of the woods - you must visit Barleylands. I normally park in the main car park and then cut through to the craft village via the office car park. However, last weekend was members weekend at Pinnacle crafts and Farmer's Market day so I thought I would go in via the main entrance and take some photos. He has sat looking at me for weeks now but I've only just had the chance to sit down and finish him off. Of course, one thing led to another and I made a start on this. My world.sort of. Wednesday, 5 August 2015. Have you seen these. Packs of images for colouring? Quite by chance I saw these packs of "Colourables" hanging on the wall in Pinnacle Crafts. And they looked interesting. Each pack contains 10 images for colouring and 2 sheets of words that you can also colour. The images are printed on good quality card. These were coloured using Copics and I'm really pleased with the way they turned out. OOoh they look good. Thanks for sharing xx. 5 August 2015 at 08:39.

My world.sort of. Monday, 31 August 2015. With just 4 to go. I wonder what colour will be next. I'm sure there is lots of speculation going on. On Saturday, I picked up another two of the colours from this year's new releases of the Tim Holtz Distress products from Ranger. Blueprint sketch" was the release for July. And is a beautiful blue. I have had a bit of a play with my marker but not tried adding water or anything else to see how it 'shades' when used like a watercolour. Sunday, 30 August 2015.

My world.sort of. Monday, 10 August 2015. Than being stuck in an office. Today it is back to work. Back to the commute, the hassle and being stuck in an office that is surrounded by construction work. I would so much rather be back here. The imagination could really take over if you let it. You could easily be in the grounds of Hogwarts and a snake from Slytherin is slithering by. There are a number of carvings dotted around the park and woodland and all have been created from fallen trees/branches.
