Crafty Clutter: Fifth Time's the Charm

http://craftyclutter.blogspot.com/2011/08/fifth-times-charm.html

Building Rome in a Day. Saturday, August 6, 2011. Fifth Time's the Charm. The correct way to handle the zipper piece:. Beautiful pockets on the sides, ready to hold water bottles:. Two pockets on the front of the bag. They're pretty big, so I'm not sure yet what will go in them. Here is the final bag:. May it see years of service and may I come to love it after all of the seam-ripping pain it caused me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Things Ive Been Meaning to Do. Flower Box Baby Quilt. Crafty Clutter: Road to Go

http://craftyclutter.blogspot.com/2011/08/road-to-go.html

Building Rome in a Day. Sunday, August 7, 2011. Somehow I had a stroke of genuis. Since I'm not spending any money on crafts this month, I found an old cookie sheet that never gets used because it's rusty. You can pick up a new cookie sheet for as little as $4 at Walmart if you don't have one lying around. After using the item, I actually found that this was the perfect size. The cookie sheet fit perfectly on his lap and was just large enough to rest on the arm rests of his booster chair. Tatting Tip: Ba...

Crafty Clutter: August 2010

http://craftyclutter.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Building Rome in a Day. Monday, August 23, 2010. Top 10 Patterns for Crochet Sweaters. As I was checking my email this morning, I opened up the newsletter from Interweave. Mostly it was updates from a recent conference and examples of how crochet is so versatile. Then, at the bottom of the email, there it was. An introduction to their new e-book. Can you tell which sweater(s) caught my eye? Which ones catch your eye? I immediately clicked the link to purchase the book. You mean I can have it NOW? Ball wo...

Crafty Clutter: August 2011

http://craftyclutter.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Building Rome in a Day. Monday, August 29, 2011. Things I've Been Meaning to Do. Yesterday I made some more t-shirt yarn and whipped up a rag rug. I'm not sure why it looks black, it's really a dark green. I'm also not sure what happened to the shaping. It's supposed to be oval, but ended up having some uniqueness to it. Perhaps tension? Perhaps not being exact in my yarn making was enough for the difference? For a free, rag project, I'm not too concerned about it. Saturday, August 27, 2011. I used the c...

Crafty Clutter: March 2011

http://craftyclutter.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Building Rome in a Day. Thursday, March 31, 2011. A Bit of Disappointment. I was surprised to find that the block for the BOM quilt was released early. I suppose it's already April 1st in Australia, so really it isn't early for them, just for me. However, I was disappointed when I saw the block:. One of these (my birthday gift from my parents. Thanks again, Mom and Dad! So that I can make lots of fun projects like these:. I LOVE my bed and it won't be made over anytime soon, but how cool is the idea?

Crafty Clutter | Just another WordPress.com weblog

March 29, 2010 at 5:25 pm ( Uncategorized. Yesterday afternoon we decided to head into town so that Lem could go and see the baby chicks that one of the stores has every year before Easter. It was a lot of fun, in spite of the fact that the first thing that she tried to do was poke the poor chick in the eye. Here are some pictures. It’s amazing how many very cute outfits that she had. And if you got this far in my blog post, then you deserve a picture A-man’s smiling self. I worked on frosting them, and ...

Happy New Year 2017! Happy New Year everyone! At the end of the year I enjoy having a reflect and look back on what happened and what changed - and with regards to sewing 2016 for me was a game changer. Looking back over the projects I made I definitely saw progress from 2015, refining skills and getting better. I think this is mostly down to having taken a college course run by The Fabric Wrangler. Who is now my partner in crime for Norwich Sewcials. That we set up together in August! My top 3 hits were:.

Trying something new here. A friend and me followed a little workshop on locker hooking. I have started on my first project to see if I can make something nice with it. Hurrah - my first FO since this blog started! This was my first go at a plarn ("plastic yarn") bag and it took 17 medium/large carrier bags to complete. I cut each carrier bag into strips roughly 2cm wide. I can't believe how much one carrier bag compresses down when you crochet with it! Last weeks projects - unfinished. The round shapes ...
