Tuesday, 17 April 2012. From shirt to cushion. I've had the below shirt in my 'pile to do something with' for a long time now, I loved the fabric and because it's quite a big shirt thought I could turn it into a few lovely things. So of course my mind went to cushions! So I decided the shirt would be the back and the pear part of the cushion, some left over green spotty fabric for the apple and my felt stash for the leaves and letters. And below is the finished result! I must say I'm quite pleased. I'm w...

Crafty Ginge: August 2011

http://craftygingemanchester.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 16 August 2011. Sorry it's been a while. So I've been really rubbish at keeping this up to date over the past few months. Anyway I'm back and i promise to try and keep on top of this! So here's a brief up-date of what I've been up to of late! My biggest project up until the end of June was the 50m of bunting I was making for my friend and work colleague's wedding! I also have a big pile of clothes I’ve collected from various charity shops across Manchester that I have plans to re-style in ...

Crafty Ginge: when you go shopping........

http://craftygingemanchester.blogspot.com/2011/10/when-you-go-shopping.html

Friday, 28 October 2011. When you go shopping. You should always have your shopper on you! Well at least I always try to as I'm sure you're all aware we need to stop using those pesky carrier bags. So to encourage people to use shopper bags I've tried to spruce them up a bit and make them not only something to carry your fruit and veg in but also a bit of a fashion statement. I shall be selling these at the monthly Old Mother Hubbarb Market. Don't get my wrong I love Christmas but not the fact it gets sh...

Tuesday, 18 August 2015. F is for Fashion. Good morning and welcome to Fashion week at Ikes world challenges. For this project I have made a quadruple twisted easel. Brides set of 4. Shoes set of 4. Bottles set of 4. Wink of Stella silver. Papermania bellisima shoe and bag stamp. Embossing folder weaving blocks. For this project I hand painted and coloured everything then assembled into four separate twisted easel cards before taping them onto the 12x12 sheet and trimming it down. Sunday, 9 August 2015.

Next : Childhood round 1! First off, I have to admit just how lucky. I am to be able to write this review. It's not as easy as just calling for a reservation at Next restaurant. Seats are sold as tickets, like a sports or performance event. And boy, is it a show! There's a "too cool for school" feel going on here, and if you're not in on it - it sucks. I know, I stalked ticket sales for Tour of Thailand and was super. Disappointed the day they were promised - and then not. Times that I used the score to ...

This topper is from Kenny K. All the papers on the above 3 cards are from Lily of the Valley paper packs. Links to this post.

Lisha's Stitching and All Things Crafty

Lisha's Stitching and All Things Crafty. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. She is complete. Finally. She's so pretty. Not much of a fairy kinda girl, but I just had to stitch her when I saw it. Jen. Then start on a frame for this too. Maybe it will be less trouble this time. Monday, July 7, 2008. Making good progress on Tigerlily. Hope everyone had...
