Crafty Jay: solid hand creams

A solid hand cream rub. The ingredients are beeswax and olive oil, scented with either lavender or rose geranium essential oil, or left unscented. To use, simply rub into the hands as required. There are stoneware dishes available in a variety of colours for the hand cream to sit in. Hand creams are available wrapped, optionally with a Crafty Jay stoneware dish.

Our soap is made in small batches of six—twenty-four bars. It is made with olive, organic palm and coconut oils, or olive oil, coconut oil and beeswax. It is scented with essential oils and may contain flower petals. We use the following essential oils at present, either individually or blended:. We prefer to keep the colour natural and use the following colourants:. Alkanet root – purple. Annatto seeds – orange/yellow. Turmeric – yellow. Sage – green. Red clay – brown/red earthy.
