A place for me to share with others, my passion - all things creative! Tuesday, 28 September 2010. Here is K dressed up as a fairy at daycare a few weeks ago, so sweet. Dress cost a whole $2 at the op-shop! I'd love to have some of these toadstools in our fairy garden out the back. I have a few little toadstools but big seats would be fantastic! It's becoming K's new favourite, and I gotta say, I think it's a really sweet show. If only all siblings could get along so well. A place for me to share with others, my passion - all things creative! Monday, 22 November 2010. A little garden in a spot that was getting too hard to mow! This little garden bed took us a day to create! First we had to rip out a lot of pesky weeds, because this little spot was too hard to get the mower or whipper snipper into! It is now filled with Red Cordalines, Mondo Grass, and a couple of succulents from my. Mum and Aunty's gardens. Big and growing crooked so we staked it also.

In an earlier post, I said I was using the Attic Windows block using heart blocks left over from an anniversary quilt as the focal point in the block. I even posted a photo of a block. Actually, I should. Say that one recently came across to me. Natural Companions: The Garden Lover's Guide to Plant Combinations. Written by Ken Druse. Botanical Photography by Ellen Hovercamp. Isn't that a stunning cover? The photography is amazing and while the outside garden shots are admittedly lovely, the knock-out shots.
