Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Congrats - a Gatefold Shutter card. This is one card fold I have never made before (actually I have never heard of it before), but I'm up to a challenge. This was a task for one of the groups I am in. I used a You tube video. Tutorial by Maria Russell. She made the card look so easy by showing us step by step how to make this card. I was able to make it the first time. The base card is Very Vanilla, cut at 8 1/2 by 5 1/2" then scored at 2 1/8 and 6 3/8". Follow me by email.

Saturday, April 20, 2013. Good morning, crafters! Saturday means another great sketch at UNSCRIPTED SKETCHES. I chose to do a card combining an art class I am taking with the sketch. For the background I used some old patterned paper and cut out rectangles of co-ordinating. Card stock (loosely like the sketch). Friday, August 7, 2015. While I was figuring out fun projects for my nieces to create for 4H, I decided to make another mason jar project. This one is painted with some Turquoise acrylic paint and I added some fun decorations.. A metallic foil doily lies underneath some 1" dotted lace trim and over the top of that is a flower made with the glassine sheets and the scallop circle punch. Tuesday, 10 January 2017. This one has been a long time coming. I've started the blanket in July, hoping to have it ready during the summer. After all, the whole idea was to make something light and airy so it could be used for the warm days. I'm getting ready for my masculine card class, and at the request of a student I am making a card using the Eclipse Technique. The Epic Celebration stamp set, a SAB stamp, seems perfect for this technique. On a 3 3/4 by 5" piece of Whisper White card stock, I stamped the large dot stamp from Touches of Texture stamp set using Cherry Cobbler ink. Epic Celebrations, Touches of Texture.
