She had arranged for the Hailstones, and the Barbens to come. I had no idea that they were coming till Dad said that there was a big white van coming up our drive way. I couldn't believe it! Mom and the rest of the family had said nothing about some freinds coming. I was so, So, SO HAPPY that they had come!

The Simmerman Family (through Laura's eyes). Sunday, August 17, 2008. Fun at the River. Our cousins, (Steven and Annie) came to visit Mammoth Valley Ranch for a whole week! We had so much fun with them. Steven is 14, and Annie is 8. Here are some of the pics that we took while they were here. Alison and Annie at the river. Will and Carolyne were having fun wading. Caleb and Steven. Steven is teaching Caleb how to shoot a gun. They had just seen a water snake and were out to get it! I'm having fun wading.

This is the Christmas tree, before we, (the kids) got to it. Everyone (especialy the kids) are waiting as pationt as we can. I (laura) made Alison a new scripture case, because her old one did not fit well. Maddie is our little cook, so mom and dad got her a cooking set, and Carolyne made the aprin. Fun at the River.

Okay, I know what you're thinking, and no, it's not a baby(; BUT, we're boarding a horse for a friend, and we all absolutely adore her! Paul was happy to see the big horse too(:. Ali with her 2 horses. Dozen on the L. and Athena on the R. She's in love, and rides them both daily. Athena refuses to go anywhere without Dozen, but hopefully she'll adjust to leaving her new friends every now and then(;. How cool, huh?
