On Thursday I got my CA-125 count this time and it was good news! It had dropped to 316. Six weeks ago it was at 444 and then 3 weeks later it had gone up to 501 and now finally it is starting to drop. This is a sign that the chemo is definitely starting to kill the cancer cells. Great news! Here was another tender mer...

We would like to thank everyone for their wonderful support during this past week and especially during the funeral. We are overwhelmed with all the love we have felt toward our mom and our whole family. It means so much to us to know how many people loved our mom. The funeral services on Saturday were so nice, and we know that Mom would be pleased. Funeral Program and Timeline.

Tuesday, June 25, 2013. What Doesn't Kill You. Last August we got a diabetes wake up call. Harold's blood sugar numbers have never been really high. He was able to keep his A1C down with diet and exercise. After getting two blisters on his feet, that immediately got infected and turned into ulcers, we learned some people's numbers don't show how insulin resistant they are are. I have a new car and it's time to travel! Waiting during heart ablation surgery. Bionic looking arm after tendon surgery. What Do...

I got a lot of love from my boys. A Mexican Thanksgiving.how good is that? Last day of fun. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, June 12, 2012. We just got back from cruising around the British Isles. We saw so much in our 12 short days on board the Caribbean Princess. I can't believe how lucky I am to see amazing places! Nice little island owned by the Royal Family (which makes for great tax loop holes). This island was occupied by the Germans in WW2 and boasts about the many underground tunnels they left. Streets all decked out for the Queen's Jubilee. I loved the little sailors learning the ropes! Can you say yuck?

Thursday, July 11, 2013. The drive to Montana is fabulous if you take the long way. We spent the first night in West Yellowstone and then headed up toward Bozeman. We drove and drove and drove! The drive was worth it! Townsend takes you back in time. Love Ray and Kathy and the old barn! How pretty is that? Where the deer and the antelope play. The old Townsend Church. I was finally able to go inside and check it out. Paying our respects to Harold's Mom and Dad. After our visit it was time to head north!

Saturday, July 28, 2012. I'm finally getting around to posting more of our British Isles trip. I've already started to forget the names of the places we went to. Hopefully, blogging will keep the memories alive. I liked Scotland even more than Ireland. Edinburgh Scotland was breathtaking. There were so many places that made your jaw drop. We were welcomed to Dunrobin Castle by Scottish bagpipes. Someone pinch me! The Dunrobin Castle had amazing grounds. Someday my hedges will look like this. Austin, Chel...
