The Craigellachie Scottish Dance Band. Just turned 13 (in 2012), Will has been playing violin since age 7. He leads the Senior Orchestra at High Wycombe Music Centre, and lead the Junior National Schools Symphony Orchestra in 2012. He has also been a member of the National Children’s Orchestra since 2010. Will’s latest ventures are the Chiltern Youth Chamber Orchestra and Craigellachie. He loves his violin and fits school and rugby around everything else!

The Craigellachie Scottish Dance Band. John started playing the piano at the age of 5, but when a move to Paisley at the age of 8 unearthed his grandmother’s 3/4 size violin he eagerly picked up this new challenge. A year later, and back in Edinburgh, John continued his violin studies and became a member of several school orchestras and the local Strathspey and Reel Society.

The Craigellachie Scottish Dance Band. Micah started learning the violin at the age of 6, and joined the Buckinghamshire County Youth Orchestra at the age of 14. By the age of 15, and with all of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music exams under his belt, he found himself leading the school orchestra and string group. He was introduced to Scottish music through the Aylesbury Fiddle Rally where his talents were spotted by Judith. Invited to sit-.

The Craigellachie Scottish Dance Band. In 1986 Ian formed his own band and the nucleus of Craigellachie emerged. Ian is also interested in composition and many of his compositions have been published . Ian is currently employed as the Senior Schools Adviser with Reading Local Authority. Prior to this he was Head of the Performing Arts Faculty in a Basingstoke comprehensive school principally teaching music, but also drama and art. Early days with McBain’s Band at the Royal Albert Hall.
