The Roberts Family: April 2010
http://robertsinsanity.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 12, 2010. Alysa loved the Brown and Blue. She really loved the polka dots and the diamonds on the side! Ady got pink and black. again. She loves how it looks like "lace" on the side. Brylee loves the her heart glasses! Links to this post. We ALL needed new glasses. Alysa, was borderline - but we decided to go ahead and get the glasses because her eyes are only getting worse. So I'll bet you can all guess where our tax refund went to. That was one expensive trip to the eye doctor! To date - ...

The Roberts Family: January 2011
http://robertsinsanity.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 31, 2011. Bite of Las Vegas. I am so behind on this blog that it is scary! But I am attempting to catch up. In October, we went to the annual Bite of Las Vegas Food and Music Festival. The girls were SUPER excited, because Miranda Cosgrove (the actress on ICarly) was going to making an appearance. So we got up really early, drove to the concert site, waited in line for what seemed like a million years, but they finally got to see Miranda Cosgrove and get a signed autograph! Unfortunately,...

Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Day 7: Christchurch Park and Mansion. We woke up early Monday morning and headed out to downtown Ipswich to go to Christchurch Park and Mansion. The morning was a little cold, but it wasn't raining, and I was really happy to be able to soak up a little Vitamin. After a long walk, we found a little concession stand where we sat and had a cup of tea. Just as we were finishing our drinks, it started to get windy and rainy, so we headed to the mansion. Links to this post. I'm ac...

The Roberts Family: To Kill a Mind
http://robertsinsanity.blogspot.com/2012/02/to-kill-mind.html
Wednesday, February 15, 2012. To Kill a Mind. I remember my first day of College English. We all filed into the classroom, found a seat, and were handed a syllabus. Well, as part of the syllabus, there was a list of books that were required reading to pass the class. The list included a lot of really great books, many of which have become my favorites. I remember thinking, "Wow. That might just be the dumbest thing I have ever heard". So why am I telling you all this? Well, it's because recently a really...

The Roberts Family: Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or Seasons Greetings?
http://robertsinsanity.blogspot.com/2011/12/merry-christmas-happy-holidays-or.html
Monday, December 5, 2011. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or Seasons Greetings? This morning while listening to my favorite radio show - Evlis Duran in the Morning (from New York) - they had a big debate on what was the most appropriate way to greet people during the holiday season, while still being sensitive to the fact that not everyone is Christian. It got me thinking. which is almost always a bad thing. Their Vegas school did too, only it was a 'Christmas Around the World' fair. I loved that th...

The Roberts Family: Science Fair Project
http://robertsinsanity.blogspot.com/2012/02/science-fair-project.html
Sunday, February 26, 2012. It's 9:30PM. Normally, right now, I would be tucked up in bed, sleeping soundly. Not tonight. We are finishing up a. Science Fair Project. Ugh. I know that teachers think that Science Fairs are the greatest. But really, they're not. It just means a WHOLE lot of work for mom. As a mom, I can just say: I left school a LONG time ago, and I really don't need to relive those times. I already resent my kids' homework, but Science Fair projects I just. I'm sure she won't. I agree, I h...
