Tuesday, September 18, 2012. I sat in a meeting last week an watched as colleagues were advised they were to relocate merge or close their schools. I learned new educational terms, consolidate and rejuvenate! These words were placed beside schools that are to close? How is that you can rejuvenate something that is closing? The word rejuvenate means to restore to a former state; make fresh or new again: to rejuvenate an old sofa. How the hell can you close a school and call it rejuvenation?

A pretty quick read with a fairly weak story line used by James Redfield to express his views on spirituality. After suffering a terrible headache along with other side effects I took her into hospital on Sunday and she was operated again on Tuesday. Poor old Jaz has been pretty sick, double vision with lots of fatigue and headaches. After a stint in A&E. Oncology decided to bring forward her routine MRI Scan. A couple of days later we received a call from our Oncology Nurse. That's when the "what ifs" came to haunt us. Isn't it funny how we torture ourselves with worst case scenarios?

The life and adventures of Mark Treacy. Wednesday, 24 August 2011. Its been well over a week since my last blog, simply because I haven't had the time. Poor old Jaz has been pretty ill. Falling victim to a nasty virus effecting her middle ear. We spent a day in hospital last week for tests including a CT scan. Thankfully the CT scan showed no other tumours or bleeds but unfortunately they could not offer any quick fix advising lots of sleep and rest. Monday, 15 August 2011. Jaz did mention last Thursday.
