Wednesday, September 12, 2012. One Saturday after school started, we randomly decided to take a trip. After some debate, we settled on Glen Canyon Dam. We had a blast. The kids loved seeing how far down the water was and looking at the boats on the lake. We remembered the hats, but forgot the sunscreen. We did not get too burned though. It is a long way down. This is my favorite picture even though Alex's face is hidden. See how his toes wrap around the chain link fence? The river on the other side.

Monday, March 12, 2012. Alex is still a happy baby. Craig and I took the kids to a Christmas party with some of Craig's coworkers. Among the games was a white elephant gift exchange. Maya was excited to open a big beautifully wrapped box only to find a "Ferengi" mask and make-up kit. She quickly pushed the box away in disgust and was disappointed that she did not win the worst gift. I had to tell them to freeze or go slow to get a decent picture. They love speeding along. Sunday, August 19, 2012. Kaydon's Eagle Court of Honor. My baby brother was honored with his Eagle Scout award on July 24th, 2012. His project was placing signs marking trails and hiking paths in the mountains above the town. We are proud of his achievements. Atta Boy Kaydon! Mom and Dad with their Eagles.
