Tuesday, June 5, 2012. It's official- Ben received an offer letter from National Oilwell Varco. It's a down hole drilling company that sells the drill bits to the oil rigs. It's such a great opportunity to advance our family and live a little less close to paychecks. The downside we are moving to west Virginia. Yep, you read it right. West Virginia. You know 2100 miles to the east? Its OK though right? Technology has afforded us with so many ways to communicate now. It will be hard but worth it in the end.

Monday, October 31, 2011. The pallbearers.even President Metcalf helped, he is the one on the end. Rustin is the one in the white shirt. The kids with grandma one last time. They sure did love going to her house and giving her "loves." I feel blessed that my children had the opportunity to get to know their great-grandparents. I never had that opportunity. April 10, 2010. We moved into our new house just a few days before Christmas. We LOVE it! It's much bigger than our old apartment. We love having a yard too, even though it's cold out. Monday, December 26, 2011. On Saturday we went out to Stud Horse and got our Christmas Tree. It was a pretty cold and windy day! The finished product. The kids were so excited to decorate the tree. The concentration of ornaments is at the bottom of the tree and in the front, but they are making memories and having fun so I didn't say much to them.
