It was a bit windy on our way past the Wind Farms near Pincher Creek. The campground lake front beach at Whitefish State Park was refreshing after 9 hours in the van. Adlai was amused by the frog swimming by. Kids safely tucked in the tent-trailer, Patrick and I celebrate. Saturday, July 30, 2011. Kaya was very proud of her rainbow kite.

It also sported some rope swings that the kids and I really enjoyed. We stopped for burgers and Adlai rode the escalators for half an hour. He adores escalators and elevators. Dad with the kids. Saturday, August 15, 2009. August 15, 2009. We planned a camping trip with Pat and Alicia Crampton and family this weekend but the weather was not cooperating. Since it was cold and rainy on Friday, instead we went to an indoor playground and then went out for dinner. We headed out Saturday morning to a campground by Exshaw. The rain held out for the most part and we were able to spend most of the day out in the open. At one point, we needed to put up tarps to protect us from some of the showers that fell.

Friday, February 25, 2011. You can barely see the burn but it is quite bad. It unfortunately happened one Sunday morning whilst breakfast was being made and there were 3 adults in the kitchen. The hilarious thing is when you ask Zoe what happened, she will tell you that the doctor did it. I don't know where she got that but it cracks me up. Our youngest at 4 months. Thursday, March 18, 2010. Maui, Part Three (Old Lahaina Luau). Today was a little rainy so we spent it driving down to the south side of the island and even went to the aquarium. On the way home to get ready for the Luau our car broke down on a very busy highway. I bought a nice dress to wear to this and ended up with my capris and hoody. Lovely. Our table with vacationers from Tennessee and Kansas. Love the coconut bras. If you go to Maui, I highly recommend the Old Lahaina Luau, we had such a blast!

Saturday, February 7, 2015. It is thrilling to come up to Kilauea iki crater. The sheer scale and depth of it seems totally surreal. Kaya was a bit skeptical about the safety of walking into the crater. Here is the cinder cone from the old eruption. Our dear friends Pat and Leslie joined us and Mom and Dad for the hike.
