Wildfire Pottery started out as strictly a pottery shop, selling Sarah’s pottery. In the shop in Cape Breton we now have pottery, used books, traditional music books and cds, Bamboolery (laser cut bamboo earrings, necklaces, brooches), dictionary page prints, pinback buttons, etched glasses, art cuff bracelets, cards, prints, and nifty things made from recycled books. February 1, 2015. If you visit Cape Breton in the summer, come to a Ceilidh Concert hosted by Paul in Ingonish! The fun starts at 8:15 every Saturday night until Sept 3rd at the St John’s Parish Hall. What’s a Ceilidh? A Ceilidh is a gathering where there is music and often dancing too. On Saturday nights in Ingonish Paul runs a ceilidh series with musicians from around Cape Breton. Each evening features guest musicians and Paul and Sarah often play as well. Fiddlers Sarah and Paul.

BZT and MJF Travels. Cabot Trail here we come. Another Ceilidh and back to Truro →. We headed south on the Cabot Trail and hit several craft galleries including Wildfire Pottery. Where Sarah Beck’s pottery was on display and her husband Paul Cranford. Next up was Glass Artisans. Whose website has a nice gallery video.
