AR came back strong with Ranjhnaa, Maryaan and Kadal (the last two in Tamil) in 2013. Kadal will undoubtedly win him a Tamil Filmfare award, however, I am not sure if Ranjhnaa has done enough to garuntee him a Hindi Filmfare. Read, crank up, smile. Saturday, January 25, 2014. Highway - Music Review. Ranjhnaa failed to impress the Hindi Filmfare awards panel. AR lost out to the music from Ashique2, which I personally thought was a tad unfair. Clearly, the panelists were in a rush and did not hit the repeat button. A few extra listen in's from them would have tilted the scale in AR's favor. Well, this is exactly the case with Highway. You have to let this one sink in. A minimum of 2 listens and a pair good quality headphones.
