The weather for Crantock. The cottage is located beside the church and approximately 600 yards from Crantock Beach. The village beach, shop and two pubs are all within walking distance and with Crantock being situated fairly centrally within the county it is an ideal base for exploring the many delights of the Cornish coast and countryside.

Crantock Beach - A short walk away. Other beaches to visit are; Porth Joke (Polly Joke to the locals) up at West Pentire. It is a long walk down, and there are no facilities once you get there, but it is worth the effort! Fistral Beach in Newquay of course most famous for surfing, is a beach for all age groups. Porth Beach on the outskirts of Newquay heading out in the Padstow direction, with parking on the beach is often a favourite with families.

Crantock Stores - close at hand. Crantock Stores - distance 5 minute walk. There is one small general store/newsagents/post office in the village. Alternatively, Morrisons have a large supermarket on the outskirts of Newquay about 3 miles away. Crantock also hosts a small number of art / craft / gift shops and galleries. Our 3rd visit to the cottage, and as before thoroughly enjoyed our visit - walks and the beach so handy, hopefully back next year" - Ken, Ros and (Rosey and Lucy), Devon.

The cottage has recently undergone a total refurbishment! We are located just two minutes walk from Crantock beach and are one of the closest houses to the beach. The beach is fantastic for families as it is wide with lots of small ponds and rock pools. Our house is available throughout the year and can be booked online or by phone.
