Sunday, November 15, 2009. How long has it been? God Felt like forever. Its not like I was lazy or anything. well most of the time. Anyway, updates. Yes. New artwork on the way. Some training stuff. No full new pieces. No time. Busy busy busy bee. But here's something to tie you over. New animation! Attempted walk cycle using Toon Boom. Also kinda resembles an old character named Malett. Sorta mashed em both. Medium: Pencil (0.5), UniPin Pen 0.7 and 0.5, PS7. Sketch - 1 hour. Digital coloring - 2 hours. Thursday, March 12, 2009. Not quite dead yet. As you can see, I'm still active in the art biz. Not as much, but I try. So here's something new. The piece it self is from an old sketch. I think its in here somewhere. This piece is a lot of first for me. A) My first time doing an entire piece as a digital painting. B) My first time using textures (blasphemous. I know right? Monday, May 5, 2008. On Call:- Dr. Octopussy. Today's artwork was provided by the letter "P" for " Pergh.Com Character Redesign Battle. The battle was last week, so sorry for the delayed post. The purpose of the CRDB was to take a well known character, and then put your own spin on it, hence redesigning it (well.duh). I'd cite Marvel for ownership for Doc Ock, but this resembles nothing like him. But for legal purposes I'll cite em anyway. DrOctopus is owned by Marvel Comics. Duration: 1.5 hours.
