Saturday, September 29, 2012. SOlast week was a blur. Moreso than usual. I (we) bought a car - a Volvo S80 Turbo. Vroooooooommmm. And I saw an odd mushroom on a treestump. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. What a great combo I say! In celebration of Summer Olympics! So maybe they aren't Olympians but they are winners in my book. Sexy boys deserve gold medals too. How are my blogger buddies today? The week has been off to a delightful start for me. Morning Wood Monday, which did not get covered yesterday, was certainly celebrated appropriately since I didn't have to go into the office at all! Now, if I even notice they are on it is because of the pretty boys competing for something.

Monday, January 7, 2013. Good Morning and may this Monday be a good one for you. It should for me. I closed my agency the other day. I am sad. Very sad. But for now, it certainly doesn't look like I will be working on any day soon, let alone Mondays. On the bright side, there is nothing but wide open opportunity for me, assuming I can find a job.untill then, I am on Funemployment! On to the meat of the matter! The reason Monday was invented! Monday, June 25, 2012. Morningwood Monday, post SF Pride. I must confess I haven't been to SF Pride in well over a decade. The crowds of people sort of drive me nuts and since I always HAVE to work in the local Sac Pride earlier in June I have a tendency to just relax on SF Pride weekend instead. The booth I was working in was next these guy's booth - they were really nice folks. I got to see many a Sister yesterday! I love the Sisters of. They make fundraising fun! A boy in blue was certainly welcome.

I am currently postdoc in the lab of Jeff Gore. At MIT. We are working on ecological systems biology and I am investigating spatial self-organization and collective behaviour in microbial populations. During my doctorate in the group of Thorsten Hugel.
