Tuesday, April 29, 2008. Crava Says "Hola Peru". After an all night flight across the equator, we arrived at a hotel in Lima in time to catch free breakfast. Then we slept the morning away and later met up with a friend of Pastor Roland's, Carlos Silva. Carlos and his family took us to a local restaurant where we ate cow heart, which tasted surprisingly like the rest of the cow. At 3pm the next day we took a flight to Cajamarca, the northern mountain town where we'll be spending the next 4 weeks. So far ...

Sunday, May 11, 2008. Out and About in Cajamarca. This is a little Peruvian lady at the top of Santapolonia. From there you can see most of Cajamarca city. We went to Alonzo's farm and checked out his Cuy (that means ginni pigs). They eat Cuy in Peru. We haven't tried it yet, but I have a feeling that we will eat some before we leave. Monday, May 26, 2008. In Trujillo we worked with Peru Mission. I was commissioned to shoot 6 different pieces ranging from typical Trujillo images (see below) to their commercial woodshop project to missionary family shoots. It was a great time, and I'm glad I had something useful to offer the mission. Now here's some images around and about Trujillo:. The city is full of interesting architecture. The market shoot was my favorite. Sam asked a couple of market sellers if we could take their pictures.
