Kohlie's 7 year anniversary of her death came and went. To prove my point, SEVEN YEARS! When talking to the kids about summer plans I asked if there was anything they REALLY wanted to do? It was a nice break from her and as harsh as that may sound, it is true and it is needed for the whole family! Us 3, happy to be by the ocean.

Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Tooday was my big kid's first day of school! I am still in shock that I have a senior, well 2 of them actually but only one who really lives here. How can I be old enough to have a senior in high school? I don't really feel that old, well, some days I am feeling kinda old in various ways. Friday, May 30, 2014. Before we left for our church convention, I took some time to get some pictures of the beautiful flowers in bloom with my Canon! It is so neat to have so many flowers in bloom all season, some flowers fade away and then let others have a turn to shine and bloom! I especially love my peonies. I wish they would bloom all year long. I wanted to get a picture of my first blooms on a new peony bush that I planted a couple of years ago. Isn't this a beauty? Could not get enough pictures.
