Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Well, McKaylee made it, the big ol' #1! I can't believe how quickly the year has gone. To celebrate we invited some family and friends to the park for cake and ice cream. It was a bit more chilly than I wanted it to be, but still a fun time. Here's McKaylee eyeing the cakes before the party. Thanks so much Maria for making these beautiful and awesome cakes! Sunday, March 2, 2008. ELVIS is in the building. The Downtown Dodge building that is! We attended Lane's (Grandpa's) Grand Opening of his new business venture. Gary Showalter hired an Elvis Impersonator from Las Vegas to perform at the event. I am not a huge Elvis fan and my kids had never heard of him, but this guy was really good, he was quite the entertainer!
