Baysinger: Love Grows Here: According to Ammely
http://abbaysingers.blogspot.com/2015/05/according-to-ammely.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. Looking at the picture of the Mesa temple that Aunt Tamzon made for us. Me: "That's the temple.". Ammely: "No. That's not the temple.". Me: "Yes it is.". Ammely, confused: "That's not Ammely's temple.". Me: "That's a different temple. The Mesa temple is where Mommy and Daddy got married.". Ammely, not convinced, looks around the room. Ammely: "There it is! She points at a picture of me and Ammon in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland. Ammely: "For a princess? Ammely: "D...

Baysinger: Love Grows Here: October 2013
http://abbaysingers.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 14, 2013. As I mentioned previously. The weather is cooling down. Fall is upon us. My favorite season. I've been getting an itch to do something festive. I want this for Ammely too. So I just couldn't say no when I saw a great deal on Groupon for this bad-boy:. With all of the memories I DO have from this season, I don't recall ever going to a Pumpkin Patch. And I've never been through a corn maze. But I've wanted to. In fact, the corn maze is on my bucket list. We had a pony ride! From t...

Baysinger: Love Grows Here: February 2015
http://abbaysingers.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 6, 2015. Mothering: Some of us got it, Some of us don't. Lynnden is swinging in her swing and Ammely is playing with her toys. I step out to the garage for a minute and when I come back in Lynnden is crying. Before I do anything Ammely rushes over to her and begins to reason with her. Ammely: "Lynnden, you don't have to be crying. You don't have to be sad. You can choose. She then plops Lynnden's pacifier into Lynnden's mouth and goes back to play. Her face falls and she looks sad. Who's...

Baysinger: Love Grows Here: They Grow and Grow
http://abbaysingers.blogspot.com/2015/04/they-grow-and-grow.html
Wednesday, April 8, 2015. They Grow and Grow. Lynnden - 9 Months. Still hasn't figured out how to push up on her arms - but that doesn't stop her. She gets where she wants to go by rolling or doing an interesting seal-type arm throw from side-to-side. Loves when Ammely plays with her. Loves to be tossed in the air by Daddy. Loves to be held by Mommy. Excellent sitter and bath time with Ammely is easily her favorite time of day. Ammely - 3 years. Loves to sing - knows many, many songs. Loves to be outside.

Baysinger: Love Grows Here: January 2015
http://abbaysingers.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 16, 2015. They Grow and Grow. Lynnden turned six months old the day after Christmas! Yup Half a year already. She sits pretty solidly for a several minutes before toppling over. Started on solid foods and actually LIKES to eat. Her favorite is rice cereal. Bananas make her throw up. She is generally a very happy, quiet baby. However, when she decides to talk she is LOUD. She is quick to grab for things in her area - she'll snatch something quick as lightning so I have to watch her closely.

Baysinger: Love Grows Here: April 2014
http://abbaysingers.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 27, 2014. I feel like since I've entered adulthood most of the time the holidays sneak up on me. It's like I go to sleep on Valentine's Day and wake up the next day and it's already Christmas. Somehow, I miss my chance to do all the fun things I had in mind and it's come and gone before I really gave it a place to rest in my life. This year, however, Easter seemed to be my exception! We did LOTS of things to celebrate the fun, frivolous side of the Easter season. Story Time at the Library.

Baysinger: Love Grows Here: August 2014
http://abbaysingers.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Lynnden's First Week - as told by Ammely. How did that first week of adjusting to another child in the house go? Well, I'm glad you asked. At first I was thinking, " What could be better than a brand new baby sister. But it didn't take long before I realized that even though she's cute. She mostly just sleeps. And takes up a whole lotta attention. I needed to reassess my initial thinking. Be better than a brand new baby sister in my home? Grandma staying in my home! I think sh...

Crib sheet and baby blankets washed. Bassinet set up by our bed. Diaper bag washed and ready to be re-stuffed with baby items. Hospital bag packed - mostly.

Baysinger: Love Grows Here: March 2015
http://abbaysingers.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 3, 2015. About half the time we are committed to doing a real, structured Family Home Evening. The other half of the time we just kind of think,"Eh, we were all home, together, in the evening - that counts, right? After several proddings from various talks/lessons/life experiences, we recently recommitted to doing it the more traditional way. So we started up with a Family Home Evening about temples. During the lesson, Ammon was explaining to Ammely what a temple is. Uh, eleven.". I know t...

Thursday, February 20, 2014. A President's Day to Remember. Because we didn't get to go fishing on our day of adventure during the Week of Love, we wanted to head out again as soon as we could and put our worms to good use. Fortunately, Ammon has Monday afternoons off. Even more fortunately, this past Monday was a holiday. And most fortunately of all, the Bunkers had this holiday off and could join us on an outing! The Phon D Sutton Recreation Center on the Salt River. Plus, the Bunkers were oober. Final...
