The House of Mis-Fits. 1 hubby, 1 mama, 2 grandkids, 3 dogs, (4) 3 cats. October 22, 2008. Wow I read the blogs daily, yet haven’t written in awhile, where the heck does time go? Can you believe we only have a week and a half left in October? Oh my gosh, un real. Here I thought I was “all that” starting my Christmas shopping early and I was on a roll, then for some reason stopped shopping thinking “oh there’s plenty of time.” NOT! So like Santa’s elves this time of year I need to crank up the saw, ...

Peppermint Tea: Bums!
http://beccy-peppermint-tea.blogspot.com/2008/02/bums.html
Monday, February 18, 2008. We were all set to be wiped off the tennis court. The team we were playing were very strong and hadn't dropped a point over the five weeks of the league but I was looking forward to the challenge. It all started so well. I served well, my volleys were working and I was well able to rally with the girls. We won that first game. The second game started off well with us winning the first couple of points. Of course we lost. Where I'm going for a girls weekend with the tennis girls.

The House of Mis-Fits. 1 hubby, 1 mama, 2 grandkids, 3 dogs, (4) 3 cats. Wow it’s been awhile since I have posted on here. I read the blogs daily cause I love them all, but writing seems to escape me lately. I guess I am finding there’s just not enough time in the day anymore. Where the heck does the time go? Had my niece here visiting for a long week end, had Ashley’s play to attend and Sat night hubby and I went to the Brad Paisley concert, which by the way was totally awesome. From your own site.

Canadian Thoughts in Texas: The Story of an Envelope
http://catwomantexas.blogspot.com/2010/02/story-of-envelope.html
Thursday, February 18, 2010. The Story of an Envelope. It was a plain white envelope in my mailbox. One with a see through window, with my name and address showing through. One that stated in the left corner that it was from our municipal courts. I'm not an American citizen, only a permanent resident, which means I can't vote (not that my vote would matter, since I live in Texas, the capital of Republicanland) and I can't sit on a jury. How would the kids do without me? Or would I lose my job. When I tol...

Canadian Thoughts in Texas: Typical Conversation
http://catwomantexas.blogspot.com/2009/11/typical-conversation.html
Tuesday, November 03, 2009. In the car this morning, on the way school. Little Man, I've noticed that you're always starving when I pick you up from school in the afternoon. So you end up filling up on a snack in the car and then you're not hungry for dinner. Would you like me to start sending you with a lunch box afternoon snack so that you have something else to eat in class besides the goldfish crackers they give you? I'd like that, I'm always hungry. So what's in my lunchbox for snack today? I swear ...
