Thursday, September 24, 2009. We took a trip to Albuquerque, NM to visit our friends, for some fun in the mountains, and to kick off our summer break. We started our trip by a visit to the Temple. Isaac found his best friend! Emma loves her cats. This to her is cat paradise. There were so many cats for her to pet. The kids were facinated with Chancho the pig. Monday, September 7, 2009. Monday, August 25, 2008. First day of School! Well this morning we officially began another school year. It was a good morning in which we were able to drop off the kids on time! Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Last Sat we had the District Pinewood Derby. After a long but fun morning, the results were in. Jacob took second place in the Bears division! He was so excited to be able to have this experience. We all had fun making the cars and racing them first at our ward derby and then supporting Jacob at the District Derby. We can't wait for next year! Monday, March 16, 2009. Ok, for the end of Feb we were very busy! Of course Isaac's Batmobile! But here is a pic of his car The Snake.

Monday, April 20, 2009. On our last day in CA. The kids had never been to the beach, and it has been years since either Gabe or I had been. To make the last day memorable, we found the pier in Oceanside, CA. It is said to be the longest pier on the West coast. It was so awesome! The day was perfect! Thanks to all the love and support she received from all! A little side note on the dress that she's wearing. Friday, May 30, 2008. One of the first grade teachers took it upon herself to allow the kids to be involved in the egg hatching process. Here are the results:. The teacher also quietly told Emma during the day that if she brought her mom after school that she would allow Emma to hold the little duckling. So needless to say guess where we were afterschool? Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Last week we did something that we all really enjoyed. Wed night we took a trip to another country! And we came right back that same night! The only problem was that by the time we got to the Temple grounds (after a quick detour to eat some yummy tacos), it was already dark, so the pics of the kids didn't come out to great. :-( But it was a wonderful night and we were reminded of the importance of teaching our kids the sacred resposibility we have to attend the temple.
