Shocking News: The Weather is Unpredictable | Crazy Moos
https://crazymoos.wordpress.com/2011/11/10/shocking-news-the-weather-is-unpredictable
Moosworthy Information Straight from the Dairy! November 10, 2011 • 6:09 pm. Shocking News: The Weather is Unpredictable. It’s tragic, but things happen. Weather is very unpredictable, and is one of the many unpredictable factors we have to deal with here on the dairy farm. We have been busy harvesting this year’s corn crop. We have been working on it for the past couple of weeks, but now we had to stop because of the weather. Summers over, here’s the first mud puddle of the winter*. Our corn field now*.

Moosworthy Information Straight from the Dairy! May 30, 2010 • 9:53 pm. Wubbzy, An Example Dairies Care! Even though there are many animals on our dairy, my little sisters still manage to make them all pets. Wow Wow Wubbzy, Wubbzy Wubbzy Wow Wow (yes, that’s his full name! Is probably one of the smallest little calves on the dairy with the longest name. Because he was so sick for his first few weeks of life, Wubbzy’s growth was severely stunted. Wubbzy was easily one of the smallest in his age group!

The Farm Vet: Let Old Glory Fly
http://thefarmvet.blogspot.com/2013/07/let-old-glory-fly.html
Face of the Farmer. Monday, July 1, 2013. Let Old Glory Fly. I LOVE 4th of July celebrations! Some may think that a bit funny as it's our country's independence from the farm vet's home country. :) We don't let that stand between us, obviously. And now he has two countries he calls home, so he is very fortunate. And we are all so fortunate for the great working relationship between the U.S.A. and England! Aww, she didn't want to wear the cute patriotic headband that mama was so excited about! The header ...

Face of the Farmer. Thursday, June 27, 2013. A Little Bit Rusty at This. Sadly, we went on a one year hiatus from the blogging world. I cannot believe how quickly that time passed and how long I have neglected this blog. But thus is life and so here we go to give it another shot. Our little girl is rapidly becoming a very independent toddler! It is more and more fun every day. This is her with our heifer, Millie, that we are still waiting to get bred. Our other heifer is pregnant (thank goodness! A Littl...

Face of the Farmer. Friday, June 24, 2011. Magnet for Sick Animals. The farm vet told me, "It is really weird - it is like I am a magnet for sick or dying animals. They always seem to find me! I have been seeing the truth in that more and more over the years with him. It is never fun to see a suffering animal but it was fate that we happened to be driving by on that quiet road to find that sheep. Like the farm vet said, he's a magnet. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Farm Vet: February 2011

Face of the Farmer. Sunday, February 20, 2011. Looks Can Be Deceiving. The farm vet is not one to get easily unnerved by any sort of bovine but when he got out of his truck and saw the big bull standing there waiting for him, he hoped this was not going to be his last time examining an animal! He climbed into the corral to face the bull eye to eye. The bull stared him down and made a few grunting noises as if to say, "Who are you and why are you in my corral? Saturday, February 12, 2011. This year, the f...

Face of the Farmer. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. We have to apologize for the recent disappearance! The last couple months have been packed with quite a few changes and surprises for us. The farm vet has been keeping up with his ultrasounding though - here are some photos. You may have guessed it, this is not the normal ultrasound the farm vet performs. It's "baby farm vet! Yes, the cow to human pregnancy comparisons have begun but I must admit I don't mind as I've grown up around bovines my whole life!
