December 24, 2013. Horse secured with halters and lead ropes in good working condition. The animal must be trained or in training to allow trimming and shoeing. No kickers, strikers or biters! Flat dry level surface (concrete or rubber pad preferred). Payment is expected at time of service rendered and can be cash, bankable check or credit card (3% fee added when using credit card). If the horse cannot be safely tied, someone must be there to hold. Water must be readily available. You can expect….

While there are lots of reasons the basic answer is protection of the hoof. Choice of shoes is directly related to work (event) and rider’s level of experience. 6 to 8 weeks sometimes more often in therapeutic cases. 4 Why the Crazy N-S? It’s our brand so we ride (shoe/forge) for it. Clips are the equivalent of at least two nails. 6 Why hot shoeing? First it provides a better marriage between hoof and shoe.
