Twice the trouble, double the fun...: January 2008
http://liandol.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 02, 2008. Is another year already over? Did anyone see where it went! The year seemed to fly by! Perhaps because we have a toddler running around whose only speeds are "raring to go" and "asleep". Or perhaps it is because 2007 was such a good one? December was an absolute whirlwind of activity with two huge snowstorms causing school closures, the Little Dictatrice's 2nd anniversary of Gotcha Day . can't believe she has been ours for 2 years now! It is a "Griswald" Christmas tree! Check...

Waiting for Pumpkin!: April 2011
http://waiting-for-pumpkin.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 15, 2011. Wednesday, for the first time ever, I donated blood! Let me back up and explain why it too so long for me to do it. When I was a child, I had hepatitis. I was sick and I honestly don't even remember having it as I was that ill. If someone hadn't told me that I had had it, I wouldn't even know. They yelled that I had cooties and ran away and wouldn't play with me. It was traumatic. THAT is my memory of having hepatitis. However, on Wednesday our work had it's quarterly blood donor ...

Waiting for Pumpkin!: January 2012
http://waiting-for-pumpkin.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 21, 2012. Just realized that other than yesterday, I hadn't updated this blog since May 2011. I am sure that most of the people that read this blog have given up on me. Let me see what has happened. We sold our house. We bought a new house in a new town and we LOVE IT! The house is great, the street is a quiet little crescent. The drive to work is a little longer for me, but the house is worth it. So far this winter we have been lucky with the weather so it hasn't been an issue.

Waiting for Pumpkin!: The New Neighbours
http://waiting-for-pumpkin.blogspot.com/2011/05/new-neighbours.html
Wednesday, May 04, 2011. They only moved in on Sunday and already I have had enough of them! I have never even seen them! Sunday afternoon a truck pulled up and they unloading began. To say that I hadn’t seen them might be wrong. There were six guys unloading the truck so one of them might be living there. The owners did arrive home about 11:00. How do I know this if I was sleeping? Finally I fell back to sleep – no easy feat for me. At 3:30am, my nose was assaulted by the strong smell of smoke. They...

Our Little Ladybug: September 2006
http://ourlittlestladybug.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 16, 2006. The home visit is officially over! It went incredibly well and was pretty easy. Our social worker is a really nice man and we felt very comfortable with him. He interviewed us together, then apart for a few minutes, then toured the house. It took about an hour and a half. He said it was the quickest home study he had ever done and I asked, "In a good way? He said, "Yes.". Posted by K. @ 5:52 PM. Sunday, September 10, 2006. Am I ever exhausted! I really miss the summer! I fee...

Sunday, April 29, 2007. Thank You, Winter Blossom April Secret Pal! Thank you to our WONDERFUL Secret Pal, Erica Dick! The books she sent along to us were so special, and none of them are books that we already have! Ken and I sat down together and read all of them! We received the sweetest book entitled Mama, How Long Will You Love Me? The illustrations and the words in it are so beautiful. Next, we received one called A Blessing From Above, and I got misty after reading it! Oh, my goodness! Now in my dr...
