Thursday, April 16, 2009. Dear Book Clubbers,. Whew, what a great meeting we had tonight! We rated A Thousand Splendid Suns. As a 4.3 which is behind only To Kill a Mockingbird. And The Book Thief. Since we introduced this rating system. Sue not only did a great job hostessing, but she also arranged a great sunset for us tonight. One consistent point to come out of our discussion was how fortunate we are to live in the country we do with the rights and opportunities we have. To discuss The Great Gatsby.
