Marketing Intervention for Books. Endangered Books: Keeping in Print! May 3rd, 2007 at 1:43 PM. I’m actually blogging since, well, forever. The question is this: who's still reading this blog? If you are one of the few who've stuck with me, I am so s. Orry about the absence. Blame synopsis-hell (but yay! I just sent it in to my editor and agent! I DON’T THINK SO! September 15th, 2006. I DON’T THINK SO! Coffee maker hum-hum-humming along. Cooking has never been easy for me. Unless you count the time when my oven was out of commission for a few months (actually, a year and a half) and I didn’t miss it. My limitations showed up as a teen. My mother said frying an egg was easy. Just stick it in the pan over medium heat and flip it once. I did as I was told. In my defense, she failed to tell me to crack the egg and pour it in the skillet. Two hours a...

WHO YA CALLIN’ FUNNY? Im calling you funny! July 16th, 2006. WHO YA CALLIN’ FUNNY? Oh, those gosh darn WV hills! I recently told a friend I had lost my funny bone. I’m fairly certain it isn’t in the house. I’ve combed the place and the dust bunnies aren’t talking. I don’t know what has happened. Perhaps, it needed a break and it hurdled over the pasty lunar thing with that bovine fella. Sheesh. I need to get out more. You’re not even smiling right now, are you? July 16th, 2006 02:43 pm (UTC). LOL I may s...

One year when I was at Writer's Camp . . . I'm back, and I've been so busy getting the kids ready for school on Monday that I haven't had time to blog or write a word or even think. I've tried to catch as many of the LA Roundups as possible, and there have been some good ones thanks, y'all! In keeping with a theme this summer, first things first:. Toes in LA relaxing in the Lobby Bar for much-needed refreshments after enduring Rush Hour in a cab! Enjoys the view from our balcony! And I enjoy a group hug!

Back from the Flood! Back from the Flood! Dear LiveJournal Friends: It has been a long while since my last post, but I have reason. On March 28, disaster struck. Not the "act of Mother Nature" kind of disaster, but the "act of incompetent workers" kind of disaster. Here's the short version. (Do you detect a deep sigh? It hurts to even think about it again! Our front porch, pre-demolition.). Our front porch, post-demolition.). The weather report was predicting rain. We haven't had rain since March 1&#...
