Theism, After Lunch. A Hangry Theology Will Not Do. Should Christian Dads have Full Time Jobs? March 21, 2015. March 21, 2015. By S Kyle J. In some Christian environments it is sometimes a question whether or not women can carry full-time jobs. Few today would say that it is completely and always wrong for women to work. Few would say that only men can work and women must be homemakers. But it is, in some minds, not an ideal. I am also worried about this, however:. Where are the dads? Aside from the fact...

Theism, After Lunch. A Hangry Theology Will Not Do. On One’s Last Year of Seminary. November 2, 2014. November 3, 2014. By S Kyle J. Seminary has been a lesson in all that I have not learned. It has been a preparation in identifying my own unpreparedness. It has been worthwhile if for no other reason than to realize how unworthy I am. 8220;Those who come close to people in pain, naturally draw near to God, because God is always by the side of His children who are in pain.” -Elder Paisios. The love of God.

The God-Forsaken Table. – Theism, After Lunch.

Theism, After Lunch. A Hangry Theology Will Not Do. November 21, 2014. By S Kyle J. God is not a box of honey-nut cheerios. God does not invite the happy or the healthy to his meal. Christ came to those in need of a physician: The sick, the friendless, and the needy. God is most glorified when we are happy, delighted, at peace. I’ve heard a message of this sort many times. I’m not supposed to be upset in front of God. God wants me to trust, to rest, to be happy. Why are we so adverse to mourning with God?

Struggling with my inner woman, and my outer man. Everyone is beautiful — a poem. Published June 4, 2016. From the curving of hips. To ones that look made of bone. Full, luscious lips. Or barely a line shown. Full, round breasts that hang. Or perky little ones, mostly conical. These are all natural, a perfect thing. And each one is beautiful. From legs that are round and covered in hair. To ones that are slender and the sky can be seen. Short people who struggle to find the right chair. Today I Am A Man.

Struggling with my inner woman, and my outer man. I got to thinking that perhaps a place for people to ask me random questions was a good idea. So here is that place. Leave your question in a comment, and I will answer it and then add it to the body of the page. No question is too big (e.g. What is G-d? No question is too small (e.g. How many toes do you have? Questions at the moment. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Create a fre...

Step 1: Admit you are a sinner – Theism, After Lunch.

Theism, After Lunch. A Hangry Theology Will Not Do. Step 1: Admit you are a sinner. March 22, 2015. By S Kyle J. Dmit you are a sinner. Elieve that Jesus died for your sins. Onfess Jesus as Lord. These are the “steps of salvation.” They are the “ABC’s” of becoming a Christian and finding forgiveness for sin in Jesus. It cuts the legs right out from under me. I’m still getting stuck on the whole ‘admitting that I’m a sinner,’ part. I’m good at. But I’m really much more self-righteous than that. If I’...
