Saturday, June 1, 2013. I picked up these 2 shirts from Goodwill. 1/2 price day of course! I thought the color combo was super cute! I cut the tops off of both shirts making sure. The 2 bottoms were the same width. Then pinned the 2 bottoms of the shirts right sides together and sewed. I didn't even have to hem the bottom of the dress. This was actually a very good thing. She was ready for it. She out-lived my grandpa, Pooka, by 17 years. While we were visiting over the 4th of July, my grandmother was admitted into the hospital (from the nursing home) for pneumonia. She passed away 9 days later peacefully in her sleep with my mom by her side. Beautiful inside and out:).

Friday, August 31, 2012. Our sweet Lauren turned 15 this month! We decorated at school to embarrass her! Her friends brought her a huge teddy bear to carry, flowers, balloons and a whole cake! Keep in mind there are NO lockers at high school now, so she had to carry everything ALL DAY! Gary took Matthew to see a Trophy Truck race in Lake Elsinore. Lauren and Kaitlyn cheered on Olivia for her track finals, where she beat her personal best time! Lauren wanted to go to Knotts Berry Farm for her birthday!
