December 02nd, 2015. I have a quick little post for today about a quick and easy DIY project! The thought of turning a tomato cage into a Christmas tree came to me while my mom was telling me about how she wanted to throw out her old garland. I don't have any pictures of the process since it is a pretty straightforward project. All you will need is some garland (preferably free), tomato cage (also preferably free), and optional lights and decor. Proceed to add lights or whatever decorations you like!

For me this summer flew by. The paint colors in the first photo in order are: Quarry Rock (BM); Grant Beige (BM); Revere Pewter (BM); Pure White (SW).*. Up close of the sink-Towel from Homegoods; Brass vase is vintage. 8203;Mirror is from Kohls. Wooden leaves are from Burlington. Revere Pewter paint color is seen on the foremost wall in the laundry room. Grant Beige paint color is seen in the hallway. Finally, Quarry Rock paint color is the new color in the powder room bathroom. Dark and moody chinoiserie.

Here are a couple updates from around our house. Now that fall is approaching, I hope to have more time to post on here! We still have some things planned to do outside like finally finish and touch-up the deck stain, and add a small wire fence in the woods behind our house. We had a white vinyl privacy fence installed over the summer and we love it. More importantly, our dog loves it because now he has the whole yard to roam around in, without the leash! 2015 Parade of Homes. Over the weekend my mom and I stopped by a new subdivision in our town that just recently started getting developed. There were a few homes there being shown in the Parade of Homes tour. We had planned on stopping only by one builders' home which we were interested in seeing. We ended up stopping at all three being shown! This is the amazing wood-look fiberglass entry door. This is the dining area with beautiful white chunky trim that I think will look perfect in our own dining room.

We have been getting so much rain around here lately, which has not been conducive to summer fun, but very good for the plants! I just took some pictures today to show how some of the flowers are doing so far. On a different note, our privacy fence installation is scheduled for this week, which I am excited for!
