Sunday has proved to be just as amazing with an attendance at a book launch by another amazing woman, Inna Segal, whom we have known for a long time. After that incredible experience, I was whisked away by my loving husband to Grumpy's in Fitzroy where we were entertained by an Argentinian Mambo Band whilst sipping wine and watching some passionate dancers bopping around on the floor. Where craft and life intersect . Monday, 26 July 2010. It's certainly been chilly in these parts! It's so cosy to stay indoors and potter away with my scraps and paper. I even got to re-organise some of it and discovered things I'd forgotten about! I'd really like to get my christmas cards done well before December this year - so, with 21 weeks to go, if I want to make 100 cards, I need to complete around 5 per week - quite achievable! 365 Days . 52 Weeks . 1 Year. What a year brings . A trip up the Hume Highway to my precious girls. A hot day (in my cool car) and a refreshment stop required at Macdonalds. My first Big Mac in years and a cup of Iced Latte. A special birthday for a special girl. A wonderfully relaxed party in the shade of a huge tree in the Botanical Gardens . just what the doctor ordered. There's nothing like being entertained by three gorgeous little dancers (and Dorothy the Dinosaur of course! Never heard of it!

365 Days . 52 Weeks . 1 Year. What a year brings . Rob and I saw the movie 'The King's Speech' in La Premiere at Hoyts (Christmas present) and when we got out it was still light. The movie was excellent - and so was the bottle of champagne, chicken crisps and cheese platter! Finally we got a good drying day! The Curves Smart program keeps results on a computer and each workout is compared to the my previous ones and the resistance is adjusted accordingly. Getting ready for my niece's wedding in February. Creating Pictures in my Mind. Monday, 9 May 2016. Walking round Morecambe Cemetery, I noticed two very striking chainsaw sculptures. They are said to be representations of a fisherman and a fisher women. They were crafted from the stumps of two dead Elm trees by chainsaw sculptor Tim Burgess.
