Barbara Bee: February 2011
http://barbarabee5.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
God be With You 'Til We meet Again. Saturday, February 5, 2011. Winter has arrived in Colorado. This week, we had a snow day when school was canceled. Actually, it wasn't so much of a snow day as it was a cold day. They canceled school on Tuesday because of the subzero weather, which, being from Montana struck me as rather odd. I believe I spent my childhood trekking to school on foot in subzero weather (uphill both ways, I'm sure.). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jenny Oaks Baker Concert with the Nortons.

Barbara Bee: The Wedding of Lisa Bergmann
http://barbarabee5.blogspot.com/2012/07/wedding-of-lisa-bergmann.html
God be With You 'Til We meet Again. Monday, July 16, 2012. The Wedding of Lisa Bergmann. It was a great weekend for a wedding in Orland Park, Illinois. It was my grand adventure flying into Midway Airport and GPSing my way around town. Loved Midway airport- small and close to my destination. I got up at three am both Saturday and Sunday to catch my flights. I landed back home at 9:00 am on Sunday morning, went to church, came home and crawled into bed:) Ahhhh. Barbara Bee: October 2010
http://barbarabee5.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
God be With You 'Til We meet Again. Friday, October 22, 2010. I am tired today. I am tired because I discovered the Percy Jackson series lately and have been staying up late every night to find out if Percy can save the world just one more time- and he does! I sure hope so. I enjoy his adventures and the humor the author embeds in the story. I think I'll sign off now, the prospect of a good read calls to me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Barbara Bee: Lisa's Wedding Prep
http://barbarabee5.blogspot.com/2012/07/i-am-flying-out-tomorrow-to-attend.html
God be With You 'Til We meet Again. Friday, July 13, 2012. I am flying out tomorrow to attend the wedding of my teaching partner, Lisa Bergmann. That was motivation for me to try my hand at sewing again. I have become rusty since the days when sewing was an obsession for me. The jacket I bought before the dress and then picked out the material to match. All I need to do now is try it one to make sure it fits:) Then I can pack my bags. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Barbara Bee: June 2010
http://barbarabee5.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
God be With You 'Til We meet Again. Sunday, June 6, 2010. Summer has arrived and so far it is blazing hot:D I want to wish all the best of luck to my "continuing" 5th graders. I hope that we worked hard enough and supported each other in our learning enough that it will see each off to a strong start in middle school and beyond. I will hold on to the memories we made this year. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jenny Oaks Baker Concert with the Nortons. If Thou Art Merry, If Thou art Sorrowful. A Year in Review.

Barbara Bee: July 2012
http://barbarabee5.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
God be With You 'Til We meet Again. Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Lazy Days of Summer. In the dead of winter, I can not remember summer. It feels that I live two separate lives: the summer life and the school live. For the record, this is what I did today, since I will look back and not remember the lazy, hazy days of summer:. 9:30 Swim at Splash. 12:00 Yoga Class. I bought a month with a groupon coupon. 2:00 Spent an hour sorting my school library at Eagleton. 3:00 Practiced the Organ at the Zuni Building.

See Jane Think: May 2012

Saturday, May 26, 2012. 8220;Why do we have the desire to tease the innocent? Thursday, May 24, 2012. What makes others’ messes bigger and more important than our own? And keeps us from recognizing our messes until we have someone else to blame them on? Wednesday, May 23, 2012. You see I don’t have mentors in this small mountain community of 4,ooo. Not that this town is void of them, the mentors haven’t yet found me. Found me, how pompous can I be? Are you fully enjoying what you are giving them?

Friday, April 1, 2011. Education: The fight is against reductionism. For education to come to terms with the immense scope and dimension of each student it will have to give up that education is capable of disseminating universality and elevate the free will and responsibility of each student.
