Points Extraordinary & Domestic: Camping, Fall 2014
http://pointsend.blogspot.com/2015/07/camping-fall-2014.html
Points Extraordinary and Domestic. Friday, July 31, 2015. Camping, Fall 2014. The ground we pitched on was sloped a bit. I put Caleb up near the top, figuring he is lighter. He still managed to creep down and give me about 6" of sleeping room. Later that day, D had the boys work on trying to light kindling with flint and steel. This was a very difficult task! Exhausted, Caleb and I went to our tent and fell asleep with little difficulty. Then we drove home. So that was the weekend. Note Capitalism as not...

Points Extraordinary & Domestic: You were in flight with my heart
http://pointsend.blogspot.com/2012/03/you-were-in-flight-with-my-heart.html
Points Extraordinary and Domestic. Monday, March 19, 2012. You were in flight with my heart. Look at you. Fireworks! And when you came back, we high-fived, we were two boys who just made fire, we waved our arms, we were kings in the street. Wow! Monday, March 19, 2012. Especially this: You were in flight with my heart. :) Words to be treasured from a great dad. And as much as I wish I had been home to watch, Im so, so happy you and Caleb had this moment together! Points Extraordinary & Domestic: February 2010
http://pointsend.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Points Extraordinary and Domestic. Wednesday, February 03, 2010. Happy happy joy joy. We just got back from a road trip to Indiana. L's grandmother celebrated her eightieth birthday. (I hope I'm that spry at eighty.). The road trip itself was a kind of trial run for a much longer trip to Disney World later in the year. Can kids and parents cope with each other while being strapped into a moving box for hours on end? Oh, we're also getting a dog. More on that later. Wednesday, February 03, 2010.

Points Extraordinary & Domestic: July 2009
http://pointsend.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Points Extraordinary and Domestic. Thursday, July 30, 2009. Looking back: the emotion. Four months. That's how long I was out of work. From Advent to Easter. And now that I am on the other side of it (thanks be to God), it is tempting to make light of the experience. It is almost bad form to admit that it was anything more than something analogous to taking a good, cold dip in the pool on a morning. Why not leave well enough alone? Is it truly nothing personal? What is exactly being said? Hope for] ....

This post first appeared on his blog The Creation Project. He has some good thoughts, which we thought we'd share with you:. Projecting our consumerism and decision-driven lifestyles onto God’s will, we continue our obsession with choice. We seek God for answers, directions, wisdom BUT we do not seek God for God! Meditations in a toolshed. Thoughts on life lived in a world with windows. September 20, 2006. LARRY KING and VIRGIN BIRTH. If you could select any one person across all of history to interview, who would it be? Someone asked Larry King, turning the tables on the television interviewer. 'Jesus Christ,' he responded. And what would King, a skeptical Jew, ask him? I would like to ask him if he was indeed virgin-born. The answer to that question would define history for me.'". Posted by Abe at 9:10 PM.
