Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Poor neglected blog. Honest I have been busy creating. :) I just didn't get anything posted. I have 3 daffodils and had one iris species plant (The snow 2 weeks ago wiped out that bloom.) braving our cold spring weather and that's the only sign of spring around here, so I made my own. I love the burlap wreaths I've seen on other blogs. And decided to create one of my own. It was so easy. I used a 10" wire wreath form. I wrapped it in 2 layers of thick quilt batting. Sunday, November 13, 2011. My Pinterest Inspired Scarf. For my scarf, I staggered the lengths of the ends so it wasn't bulky,. Er, hanging down the front of me. By doing that, my scallop lengths weren't long enough. To wrap all the way around my neck, so I tied pairs together. And wrapped that area of the scarf with a scrap. I used a crochet hook to pull the ends through the wrapping. And out the other sides so it wouldn't come undone. I then trimmed those ends. To have the scarf stay together in front,.
