This was my second year with these beautiful ladies in this gorgeous setting. I'm grateful for having him in my life even though he was my much older brother. We grew closer in the last 15 years, especially the last 10 years. Daily adventures on my colorful journey. Char's Poetry and Stories. Renovations - What Was I Thinking? We decided to completely renovate our rental duplex so we could sell it. Just to be clear, that's two apartments in 5 months while working full time (me) and part-time (my husband) jobs. What was I thinkin? I miss sleeping in on Saturdays. I miss eating a home cooked meal. I miss having a weekend free to just "veg" and watch movies. I miss going to movies. I miss my friends. Day 146 Saturday, May 8th.

My list of things I don't miss when I quit smoking Dec. 5, 2008. 1 Ashtray taste in my mouth. 3 Cravings (addiction controlling me) and coughing up stuff you don't want to see coming out of another human being. 6 Fewer chances of getting cancer or other health issues. 7 Going outside in winter for a smoke. 10 January resolutions to try again. 19 Stinking like crap.
