I have been lucky in that my entire life has been creating crafts and art. Right now I make good living creating whatever I want, and taking it to market on weekends. I have written a few books about how and where to sell what you make. Check out www.craftmasters.com. I create all week, and sometimes have my own problem focusing on which direction to go. My lists help me to figure that out. There are people who want to create, and there are people who have to create.

Who needs to create? You work, you play, you create. Work is what other people want you to do. Play is when you relax from work. TV, mostly, right? Creating is your unique purpose in life. The results are what you leave to show you were here. You can create when you work, let other people get rich off of it., take the credit for it. You can create when you play, but you don’t have to think when you play, and you need to think when you create. What do you want to do?

Everyone has a different situation about where to create, depending on space available or not, and distractions, kids and pets, etc. Here are a couple of thoughts. Can you close the door?
