I used about half a Schoppel Zauberball called your blue eyes to make these. To accentuate the shell pattern, I switched between dark and light parts of the yarn every two rows. It was a slow motion jump since it took 20 months to complete them Well, socks might not become my favorite kind of knitting project. Maybe wearing them will me convince that hand knit socks are really a must-have? The pattern is Alpenrose’s serpentes a free pattern that can be found on Ravelry or directly on her blog. As was foreseeable, the cowl leaves small, hairy traces everywhere it touches rougher surfaces, but it is quite acceptable. I had bought much too much wool. 2 skins of Lana Grossa Silkhair. And I used less than half of one. The cowl is incredibly soft to wear, does not scratch and is quite warm while being light as a feather. Wedge hats and worm.

Sonntag, 10. Mai 2015. Ich hab mich durchgerungen mal was anderes zu häkeln, als nur Tierchen. Die Anleitung ist aus dem Buch Drachenschals effektvoll gehäkelt. Ich hab mich allerdings nicht an meine "gute" Wolle getraut. Da ich mich noch mit Schrecken an die Decke für meinen Puppenwagen, die ich als kind gehäkelt habe und die dann krum und schief war erinnere und ja auch noch irgendwo ein angefangener Poncho seit 4 Jahren im Schrank liegt. Eigenlich sollten sie ein Ostergeschenk für den Neffen und die Nichte von meinem Freund werden. Und ich muss sagen, dass er mir wiedermal richtig gut gefällt, so gut sogar, dass ich schon das nächste Tier von ihr an der Nadel habe. ;-). Also musste sofort die Anleitung her und dann gabs auch noch Häkelwolle bei Lidl und die passte auch ncoh wunderbar zur Anleitung. Achja der Kopf ist bei mir leider nicht ganz so wie bei Mala weil ich irgendwie die ein oder andere Reihe zu viel gehäkelt habe und nicht alles wieder aufribbeln wollte, als ich den Fehler bemerkt habe. 13 Mai 2015 um 15:50. Mittwoch, 3. Juni 2015. Ich hab 'nen Virus. Nein ich bin nicht krank. Ich hab das Virustuch gehäkelt. Das war eins meiner Projekte für den Urlaub, denn das Arbeiten mit einer Plastiknadel während des Flugs war kein Problem. Ich habs nur nicht ganz während des Urlaubs geschafft sondern Jetzt zu hause fertig gemacht. In dem Tuch stecken übrigens fast 300g Wolle und man kann es auch als Stola tragen.
