Shha little birdie told me. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. My Christmas card craze has started. When I start making Christmas cards.I cannot stop. It usually starts off slowly with the cards.and then I get into a groove and can't stop making them. I made 8 the other night and will keep going until they are done. Color Challenge for Color Inspiration for Card Makers Week. This time, it was Neutrals. And while I felt that the color combo that I chose did not exactly match the challenge colors, I worked with what I had and enjoyed making a "boy" baby card.to match my previous "girl" card. Shha little birdie told me. Sunday, September 11, 2011. I have been crafting some, mostly cards and that keeps me a little sane. Just a little. Keeping my budget down too. Scrappiness comes at a price, and that is that if I am not using what I have, I should not be buying new stuff. I added a little dimension by crinkling up the flowers (cut from pp) and adding foam pop dots. Crinkled the swirly frame (swirls cut from pp) around the picture. Misted the printed canvas with Tiger Lily Maya Mist to add orange. Used the dots mask by Heidi Swapp to get the polka dots. And made a few crinkled clouds.

Yup, I'm still alive. But extremely busy with my new job! For those of you who dont know, I transitioned from a 3-day 2 year old Pre-K class, to a 5-day, Pre-K 4 classroom. I officially started on November 10th and have been running around ever since. Ill be back to do a post on my birthday.December 15th. . See you on the 15th!
