A lot of this recipe is not so rigid; so use up whatever nuts and dried fruits you have in your house (I know that my drawer is a lot cleaner right now.). Save for a day when it's not too hot to bake. :). Adapted from Miss Dahl's Voluptous Delights. 3 c oats (rolled ones, not that instant crap). 1/2 c shredded coconut. 1/2 c honey or agave nectar.

This usually means putting on her apron, hitting things with a spoon, and tasting all of the ingredients. I couldn't be happier. The other night, we decided to make applesauce together. All of us! Step 1: Peel apples. Step 2: Cut them up and put them in a pot. Step 3: Add a little water and cinnamon. Cook until they start to break down.
