The Eggman Studios Notebook: Busy Bee
http://eggmanstudios.blogspot.com/2013/08/busy-bee.html
Wednesday, August 21, 2013. The tiny paintings are now live. I'm pleased as pie with how they all look together, quirky little things that they are. The bumble bee piece ("Escaped") just sold, but there are plenty of others waiting for new homes to fly off to! The sun is shining, I have a coffee date with a good pal, and have been making good progress on yet more paintings. Feeling both inspired and productive, which is always a hard combo to achieve. Hope your week is going well! Posted by Eggman Studios.

Friday, August 10, 2012. Art Journal Part IV: Ice World. Some day, I'd really like to visit Antarctica (preferably to do research). I realized a month or two ago that my "list of places I most want to see" is dominated by cold-climate locales. Antarctica, Iceland, Northern Canada, Ireland, the Netherlands. Then again, my closet is also dominated by sweaters and coats (I don't even own a pair of shorts). Guess that says a lot. Posted by Eggman Studios. Wednesday, August 08, 2012. New in the shop. Each pac...

Observations about brands, branding and our culture in general. Wednesday, August 23, 2006. Tom Cruise proves the necessity of managing your personal brand. Well, it finally happened.Paramount terminated Tom Cruise's contract due to his recent 'unbecoming behavior,' proving that even H'wood has its standards. Tom's brand: boyish charm meets hot, well-poised, likeable action hero - left no room for jumping-on-various-furniture-and-automotive-platforms while screaming-and-declaring-his-love-for-Kat...BTW, ...

Observations about brands, branding and our culture in general. Monday, January 29, 2007. No matter what side of the political fence you're on - and we at Insight303 are firmly bi-partisan - you've got to acknowledge the significance of Hillary Clinton hiring ad execs. To help with her '08 presidential bid. Not an agency, not a consultant - but a team of ad professionals who were among the first hires she's made for her run. Observations about brands, branding and our culture in general. Wednesday, May 07, 2008. Kudos to Chrysler for taking a bold stance on the gas crisis by actually doing something to help consumers. Their new "campaign" is more than that; it's a big, industry-changing idea. If they indeed must continue churning out huge gasguzzlers. Why not give consumers a real, practical incentive to buy them. They must have taken this idea to market in record time- and they deserve credit for that, at least.
