Bridge Creek flows south from North Cascades National Park, eventually into the north end of Lake Chelan. An underexplored gem in the middle of nowhere! I enjoy the unforgiving sensations and bleak gloominess. Winter offers solitude. The eastern side of Washington's Cascade Mountains hold many whitewater canyons that run every year in the spring. To start, Levator is pretty lightweight and stows in the back of your kayak pretty easily for the paddle in or a sketchy drop. We ended up paddling Canyon Creek, the Upper Upper Cispus, Ohanapecosh, Lewis Falls (upper run and lower Lewis Falls), the White Salmon from Farmlands all the way down to the Columbia, and the Little White Salmon.
