Last Thursday, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes took part in the Jackie Holland Memorial Cup; playing hurling against Oranmore in Cregmore pitch. The first match was between 3rd and 4th classes and ended in a draw, with both teams scoring 1-4 apiece. It was a very enjoyable day for all.

We recently planted parsley and lettuce seeds into small pots. We left them on a classroom window, where they were provided with adequate sunlight and regular watering. After a few weeks the plants were strong enough to be planted in the outdoors. We look forward to seeing these foods grow even further and shortly we hope to be able to taste them. A coach from the Table Tennis Association of Ireland came to our school. He taught us some rules and stokes in table tennis, so we can learn how to play table tennis on our new tables we have at school. He taught us how to do a stroke called 'The Backhand Push'.
