I've officially completed nursing school! I finished this August from Weber State's accelerated RN program. It feels so nice to have it done, it was definitely a challenging and busy year but I'm so glad that I did it that way! Sunday, September 13, 2009. This July we took a family trip with the Nicholls to Las Vegas. We drove down on a Thursday night and stayed in Mesquite, then drove into Vegas the next morning and stayed until Monday. It was scorching hot! We stayed at the Saraha Hotel, it was our first time there and it was pretty nice! So we wasted some time but finally rode it before we left :). We'd never been before and it was so entertaining, definitely worth the money! The Rain Forest Cafe where we ate one night.

Sunday, November 1, 2009. October 13-15 was the week of Jaran's spring break at the U, so our friends Brock and Betsy Loomis invited us to go to Yellowstone with them. Their family has a time share in West Yellowstone where we stayed which was way nice. The first night we got there we walked around town and went to a bunch of stores and gift shops, then ate dinner at the Bear Tooth Barbeque, so good! So excited to be in Montana! In front the World Mark Lodge where we stayed. The weather all day was cold!

Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Pumpkin carvin, apple dippin, chili eatin kinda week. Last Monday and Wednesday mine and Jaran's family both got together to carve pumpkins and make. Caramel apples for Halloween. Every year Jaran comes up with a crazy idea for his pumpkin carving. and he didn't disappoint this year! He cut open the bottom instead of the top, scooped out the insides and then put them on top of the pumpkin to make it looked like an exposed brain. how creative :). And Abby working on hers!

Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Jaran and I got lucky this weekend. we were invited to the Utes game Halloween night with our friends Brock and McCall. Sadly we've never been to a game and Jaran's been going to the U for a year now so we definitely took them up on their offer! It was a lot of fun because it was BLACK OUT, and almost everyone dressed in black. They beat Wyoming 22-10! Getting ready to score a touchdown. The fans all in black!
