Thursday, June 24, 2010. Yesterday marked one week for Kate! It's amazing how much she's changed and developed just in one short week! Life has been so great with her in it. Kyle and I are still getting adjusted to having a baby in our lives but it's been an amazingly fun journey so far! Over the last week, we've learned a lot about our Kate. Monday, May 30, 2011. Fun and Busy Memorial Day Weekend. This long holiday weekend was lots of fun! We stayed in town but were busy, busy and hit up the Edmond Blues Fest, Paseo Arts Festival and of course got some pool time, among a slew of other things including Kate's first taste of spaghetti (I took a before and after pic included here) and her first trip to Sam's - ha! Sunday, March 20, 2011. Kate - 9 months! Kate turned 9 months old this past week! Here's a few pictures that I tried to take with her posing with her monkey but that was the biggest challenge ever! It was impossible to get her to sit without reaching for him, so I think there's one or two in the mix that shows you how much she's grown compared to previous pictures I've posted. We're still guessing who she favors most - me or Kyle? We really don't know! I think she must just be a great mix of us both ; ).

Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Just this past week, we went on our first official vacation as a family! We went to the beach in Seaside, Florida to hang with my family - we go every year (except last year, this time, I had just had Kate! It was so much fun and I had heard mixed stories about whether babies would like the sand. Kate, thankfully, is officially a beach baby! Thursday, June 30, 2011. Just a few photos from some swim time that we've had recently in grandma's pool! We go to the beach very soon and we're so excited to take Kate! She's going to love it - she's definitely a water baby. And, I just love seeing all her "muscles" in her little swimsuit! So squeezable - just love it! Kate and Uncle Austin. Kate was 18 months old (now she's 19 1/2 months old), so I've got about 2 months behind and can't believe I'm just now getting around to posting pics from Christmas!
